From Genesis to Revelation, all of the Bible is God-breathed. It is living & active, sharper than a double-edged sword. It cuts through bone & marrow, soul & spirit. It judges the heart & examines the mind.
The Word is The Truth, The Light & The Way.
Before time began, The Word existed because He was with God & was God.
Current Bible studies, sermon series, readings, devotionals, music, books, videos, etc., will be posted on the blog once a week.
GenRev ecclesia is the Body of Believers—lay people, not necessarily ordained. We study God's Word from credible Bible teachers, preachers, and/or resources, like those listed below. Visit the websites to learn more!
I recommend visiting BibleProject.com if you are a new Believer. It is an excellent resource to read and understand the Bible. From their site, you will discover many more resources to guide you from the beginning.
Also, it is vital that you get in community with other Believers! It may be "gone are the days" of the "megachurch," so find some Christian friends to study with and/or an online Bible study group. The resources below are those we recommend because they have matured us in our faith tremendously.
You cannot live your life of faith isolated, nor can you grow in faith if you do not have someone to help answer your questions. Our enemy, the devil, can disguise himself as an angel of light so, without having a community of Believers, you will not know whether you are being deceived or not.
As Emma Stark says, "we believe in some far out there stuff!" The Bible is full of strange encounters and supernatural experiences! However, if an experience or encounter does not lead you or someone else to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, or if the message is about self-salvation, it is not biblical. It is demonic. And if anything contradicts the Word of God, it is not from The Holy Spirit or His Holy Angels. It is from satan. It may seem like a fine line, but in the big picture, it is not.
Reading the Bible is important. Knowing His Word is important. Asking questions is important. Having someone to mentor you is important. Accountability is important. Community is important!
Welcome to the Body of Christ, sister or brother!
Shalom!
We, ourselves, are on our own journeys, but if you're interested in listening to our conversations, we are happy to share them with you! We especially pray that our conversations will lead you closer in relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ!
Every week, we meet together to discuss random links we've shared with each other during the week, as well as our personal experiences with the LORD and our new (biblical) supernatural encounters.
our podcast is not yet produced—please check back in February 2022!
